Designed around small software teams supporting business workflows across third-party event integrations.
| Event | Delivery evidence | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| Order update · sample A | Three failed attempts | Check destination |
| Account sync · sample B | Timeout after receipt | Check duplicate risk |
| Export ready · sample C | Recovery verified | Close review |
An error chart shows failures, while support needs to know which business event was affected and engineering needs to know whether a replay could trigger the action twice.
DeliveryDesk would organize failed delivery evidence and recovery decisions alongside existing event infrastructure. The first pilot would be a read-only review workflow with sanitized event metadata.
Three planned capabilities we want to validate with early users.
Planned records would connect an event identifier, delivery attempts, and the observed response.
Proposed summaries would expose only the approved fields a reviewer needs to route an incident.
Planned notes would record who checked duplicate risk and what happened after an authorized recovery.
A focused approach for small software teams supporting business workflows across third-party event integrations.
Start a future pilot with approved metadata from an existing event system.
Identify the owner, inspect delivery attempts, and confirm whether the business action already occurred.
Carry out any authorized recovery in your existing system and record its result.

Automatic replay is outside the proposed first version. Repeated events can create duplicate actions; recovery requires explicit authorization and application safeguards.
The initial concept is incident review around existing systems. Durable delivery, signatures, queueing, and routing remain the responsibility of those systems.
